We seek a highly motivated and talented postdoctoral research fellow to work on a project investigating the function-structure relationship of neuronal circuits in the neocortex.

Techniques used to investigate this topic include in vivo/in vitro calcium imaging, electrophysiology, optogenetics, behavioral tasks, and novel trans-synaptic viral tracing methods.

Candidates with a background in neuroscience, physics, medicine, biology or a related field, and experience in one or more of the aforementioned methods are encouraged to apply.

The candidate would be financed by an excellence initiative so candidates of high caliber are especially welcome to apply. Candidates must have a PhD from a non-French institution, and expect to receive their PhD within the next two months or have obtained it within 4 years of the application date.
