Postdoctoral positions are available in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology and Emory University.
The positions will be under the supervision of Dr. Peng Qiu. The primary research focus will be on developing novel computational methodology for the analysis of complex high-dimensional genomics and proteomics data. Specific research directions and projects include:
(1) analysis of flow cytometry data and CyTOF
(2) integration of multiple data sources (i.e. copy number, methylation, gene expression, microRNA).
(3) differential equation modeling and information geometry.
We are recruiting creative and enthusiastic recent PhD graduates with background in statistics, computer science, electrical engineering, or physics. Experiences and interests in high-dimensional biological data analysis are required i.e. genomic data, sequencing, flow cytometry data. Programming languages such as R or Matlab is required. Experiences with one or more of the above three research directions are preferred.
