The “Comisión Nacional de Investigación Científica y Tecnológica” (CONICYT) and “Facultad de Ciencias Físicas y Matemáticas” (FCFM), Universidad de Chile, have a postdoctoral position open in experimental physics. The areas of interest are nanoscience, nanomaterials, systems of low dimensionality, etc. The deadline is September 30th, 2013. I. RESEARCH ACTIVITIES.
1. Outline the research project you wish to pursue. You are advised to include here, briefly, the background on which your project stands, the specific goals of the research activity you plan to develop, as well as the working hypothesis on which your research will be based upon.
2. Outline actvities other than research that you will develop at the department to which you are applying, and how these activities will contribuye to your blending into the department you are applying to.
II. INFORMATION REQUIRED FROM POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCHERS.
The following information must be provided by postdoctoral applicants:
Curriculum vitae of the applicant including personal data and contact information, date of birth, graduation date, the title of the Ph. D. Thesis and name of the Thesis Advisor, the Degree/Title obtained, list of publications, participation in scientific congresses and meetings, participation in research projects and in other training activities, etc.
