Postdoctoral Position - Electronics Science & Technology Division
Power Electronics Branch - Naval Research Laboratory
The Electronics Science and Technology Division at the U.S . Naval Research Laboratory is seeking highly motivated, outstanding postdoctoral candidates to participate in a research program focusing on novel materials synthesis for applications in Navy systems. The postdoctoral researcher will participate in programs involving novel oxide atomic layer deposition (ALD) on particles using a new state of the art particle ALD reactor, as well as,
chemical vapor deposition of graphene, boron nitride, and other two dimensional materials. The work also includes potential for novel chemistry development. The position is available immediately and is aimed at I year with possible extension to 1 more year.
Candidates should hold a PhD in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, or a related field and a strong interest in multidisciplinary work. Preference will be given to
candidates with experience in any or all the techniques described above, as well as, experience with fluidized bed and rotary reactors.
