You will join an interdisciplinary research group working on scent signalling in rodents and its relevance to pest control. Your role will be to investigate the structural and interaction aspects of major urinary proteins. These proteins bind to volatile pheromones and have major roles in mouse navigation. You will perform and analyse the solution and solid-stateNMR experiments to obtain structures and use other biophysical methods to investigate ligand binding.
You should have a PhD in a relevant discipline, with experience of using either solution or solid-state NMR to solve the structures of protein complexes. The post is available until 30 June 2015 with the possibility of a further extension until July 2017.
