A Post-doctoral Research Fellow position (1) is available immediately in the laboratory or Dr. Kira Gritsman, Assistant Professor of Medicine and Cell Biology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University. The laboratory resides in the Albert Einstein Cancer Center, a major NCI-designated research institute with a broad spectrum of interdisciplinary programs and core laboratory facilities. The candidate will conduct research focusing on the roles of the PI3 kinase signaling pathway in hematopoiesis and leukemia using mouse models, cell-based models, and patient samples, with the goal of developing new therapies for hematologic malignancies. JOB REQUIREMENTS The successful candidate should have a recent Ph.D. in the biological sciences or related fields or an MD, with a strong research background in cell biology, molecular biology, and cancer biology or immunology. Candidates that are already in the US will be given preference. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled. |
