A PostDoctoral position is available at the Northwestern University, Feinberg School of Medicine, Department of Medicine and the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center, located at Chicago, IL. Highly motivated research fellow with strong interest in cancer biology, translational cancer research, transcriptional regulation, cancer genomics and epigenomics are invited to apply. Our research focuses on studying the molecular mechanisms of prostate cancer and developing novel therapeutic strategies to treat castration-resistant prostate cancer (Yu et al., Cancer Cell. 2010;17(5):443-54, Zhao et al., Genome Res.2012;22(2):322-31, Jin et al., Nat Commun. 2014;5:3972.).
The successful applicant must have a Ph.D. with outstanding technical skills in molecular/cellular biology, strong ability to design experiments and interpret experimental data, and excellent communication skills. Interest in high-throughput genomic technologies such as microarrays and next-generation sequencing and integrative genomics/bioinformatics analysis is a plus. Preference will be given to candidates with multiple first-author publications in peer-reviewed journals.
