The following positions are currently available under the supervision of Prof Don Cowan in the Centre for Microbial Ecology and Genomics at the University of Pretoria, Pretoria, South Africa. For more information, see www.up.ac.za/CMEG.
UP1: Post-Doctoral position [University of Pretoria-funded: 22 months] on
identification of stress response genes and pathways in desert soil metagenomes. Available immediately.
UP2: Post-Doctoral position [University of Pretoria-funded: 18 months] on crop plant rhizospheric microbial community analysis. Available immediately.
UP3: Post-Doctoral position [University of Pretoria-funded: 19 months] on the structure-function analysis of CAZymes. Available 01 October.
UP5: Post-Doctoral position [University of Pretoria-funded: 12 months] on microbial ecology and functional metagenomics of hot and cold desert soils. Available immediately.
