New Mexico CNTC Fellowship Opportunities
The NCI-funded New Mexico Cancer Nanotechnology Training Center (CNTC) provides fellowships and interdisciplinary training to graduate students and postdocs whose research uses nano and microtechnology approaches to understand the properties of cancer cells and to discover and develop research tools, diagnostic tools, and therapeutic agents that will reduce suffering and death due to cancer. CNTC mentors and trainees may have primary appointments in any biomedical, physical sciences or engineering department at UNM or at the Sandia and Los Alamos National labs. In general, successful applicants are already engaged in research projects that apply nano/micro and imaging technologies to understand, prevent and ultimately treat cancer. Fellowship support is for one year, renewable for a second year subject to good progress.
The next deadline for applications is April 01, 2014 for fellowships starting June 01, 2014.
