Two Postdoctoral Fellow/Research Scientist positions are available in the Perinatal Research Program in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Wayne State University School of Medicine, to study the mechanisms of maternal-fetal interactions and the vascular complications associated with various pregnancy disorders. Applicants should have a Ph.D. and a strong background in molecular biology and/or immunology. Research experience in the areas of pregnancy, placental development, mouse embryo handling and transfer, lentivirus generation, tissue-specific gene targeting and transgenic design would be advantageous. More experienced candidates with strong writing skills will be considered for the Research Scientist position.
