to work on "Mouse and Human Germline, Epigenetic Programming and Early Development" in the laboratory of Professor Azim Surani.

Salary: £28,695-£37,394
Our research group is actively working on mouse and human germline and early pre- and postimplantation embryonic development. We are investigating mechanism of cell fate determination in early mammalian development, including the role of signalling molecules, transcription factors, molecular and epigenetic mechanisms, as well as analysis at the resolution of single cells. Studies also cover dynamic changes inDNA methylation, chromatin organisation and modifications, epigenetic (re)programming of mouse and human germline and somatic cells for totipotency, and germline transmission of genetic and epigenetic information.
Candidates with expertise in one or more of the following areas:- epigenetic mechanisms, chromatin organisation and modifications, mouse and human embryonic stem cells, primordial germ cells, and pre- and postimplantation development are most suited for these positions. Candidates should have a PhD in a relevant subject.
Limited funding: The funds for this post are available until 31 January 2018 in the first instance.
