The MacKeigan Lab within Van Andel Research Institute’s Center for Cancer and Cell Biology has a position available for one Postdoctoral Fellow. This postdoctoral position is available for a motivated PhD graduate who meets the description outlined below. The fellow will investigate autophagy in the context of KRAS-driven lung cancer using live cell microscopy and flow cytometry.

Job Functions:
The scope of this fellowship project includes mammalian cell culture, dissection of relevant signaling pathways, live-cell/confocal microscopy and quantitation, RNAi, gene-editing, and flow cytometry. The candidate will work with Dr. MacKeigan and collaborators at Los Alamos National Laboratory to develop a model of autophagy-mediated survival in chemoresistant lung cancer.
Position Status and Salary: Full-time, non-exempt position. Salary determined based on Doctorate receipt date according to a set stipend schedule, which begins at $45,500 up to a maximum of $52,000. Benefits include:
