One senior postdoctoral research associate position is immediately available at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Tyler (UTHSCT), to study the mechanisms for stromal cell-based repair of fibrotic and edematous pulmonary injury. The potential candidates should have an M.D. and/or Ph.D. degree and a strong background in molecular biology and animal studies of pulmonary diseases. Preference will be given to those with significant experience in proliferation, migration, and differentiation. Applicants should have demonstrated scientific productivity, good inter-personal and communication skills, and be able to conduct independent research. Salary will be commensurate with experience and skills. Research laboratories are housed in a modern facility equipped with state of the art instrumentation.
