Post Doctoral Scholar in Immunology: Mechanisms of Tolerance Induction : Boston, MA, United States
The Chatila Lab in the Division of Immunology, Boston Children's Hospital and Harvard Medical School, Boston is currently seeking highly skilled and motivated postdoctoral researchers in mechanisms of regulatory T (Treg) cell differentiation and function in maintaining peripheral immunological tolerance. Of particular interest are mechanisms by which Treg cells maintain peripheral and oral tolerance (Nat Immunol. 2015 Nov;16(11):1162-73; Immunity 2015 Aug 18;43(2):289-303) and their role in the pathogenesis of food allergy and related disorders of oral tolerance breakdown (Immunity 2015 Mar 17;42(3):512-23; Immunity. 2014 Jul 17;41(1):141-51). Approaches involve studies on engineered genetic mouse models and novel gene defects relevant to Treg cell biology as well as relevant human population samples.
