Job Description
A postdoctoral position is available in the Department of Physiology at UCLA to study the physiological roles and mechanism of calcium signaling and vesicle trafficking in T cell-mediated immune responses and autoimmunity. Trainee will learn cutting edge molecular biology and high-resolution imaging techniques including membrane protein purification, high throughput screen, genome editing, and single-cell calcium imaging. Please refer to our publications for further information (Nature 2006, Nature Cell Biology 2010, PNAS 2012 and 2016, Science Signaling 2016). Recent PhD graduates with a strong background in biochemistry, proteomics, and immunology will be preferred. The applicants should have at least two relevant first-author publications demonstrating their capability in molecular biology, imaging and animal handling.
