Position Summary: Postdoctoral Research Associate will lead projects within the Laboratory for Neural Engineering of Speech and Hearing.  
Essential Functions: Work on research goals to meet the commitments of projects and grants. 

Timely dissemination of research findings. 

Training will include leading research groups of graduates and undergraduates, managing laboratory dynamics, grant writing and scholarship activities.  
Additional Functions: Independent proposal writing will also be supported as a path to independence.  
Prerequisite Qualifications: PhD in neuroscience or biomedical engineering or appropriate discipline. 

Background appropriate for the position includes experience with neurophysiology of auditory function.  
Preferred Qualifications: Exposure to rodent models preferred. 

At the university's discretion, the education and experience prerequisites may be excepted where the candidate can demonstrate to the satisfaction of the university, an equivalent combination of education and experience specifically preparing the candidate for success in the position.
