Mucosal Immunology Postdoctoral Fellowships : New York City, NY, United States
Immediate availability for two post-doctoral fellowship positions for highly motivated candidates to work in a Laboratory of Mucosal Immunology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai (formerly Mount Sinai School of Medicine) in New York City. The first position will involve examining the pathogenesis of HIV-1 in the gastrointestinal mucosal tissue with emphasis on mucosal B cells. The second position will focus on examining homing pathways to the gastrointestinal tract. These postdoctoral positions will provide a unique opportunity to be a part of a dynamic research team in a vibrant scientific environment in New York City.
Requirements: Doctoral degree (PhD, MD, or DVM) in immunology or virology/microbiology or related scientific discipline with relevant lab experience in mucosal immunology. A background in HIV biology is preferred but not essential for the first position.
