A postdoctoral fellow position in bioinformatics and computational biology is immediately available at the University of Michigan. This position is a joint appointment between the Department of Clinical Pharmacy and the Department of Biostatistics. The postdoc will conduct research in genomics and proteomics to study the role of genetic variants in regulating protein expression. Comprehensive proteomics data generated from human and animal tissues will be analyzed to elucidate the impact of genetic polymorphisms on the expression of the genes of interest at a protein level. The postdoc is also expected to work on genomics, transcriptomics, and proteomics data obtained from various cell lines.
