Job Description
| A postdoctoral position is available immediately at the laboratory of Dr. Galit Pelled at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and the Kennedy Krieger Institute, Baltimore, MD, USA (http://pelledlab.org). The research focuses on developing novel neuromodulation therapies to facilitate recovery following injury in rodent models. We apply fMRI (using high field 11.7T pre-clinical scanner), in vivo electrophysiology recordings, optogenetics manipulations, transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), optical imaging, molecular biology and behavioral testing approaches. A background in neuroscience is required. Expertise in MRI, electrophysiological recordings, calcium imaging or behavioral testing is a plus.
