Postdoctoral Researcher in Biophysics and Single Molecule Microscopy

We are seeking a Postdoctoral Investigator to work on kinetochore-microtubule interactions using reconstituted systems in vitro (https://www.med.upenn.edu/grishchuklab/). The applicant will have opportunities to work with state-of-the art microscopy instruments and receive training in a multidisciplinary and highly collaborative environment. The intellectual environment at the University of Pennsylvania is outstanding for biophysical and cell biological work on cytoskeletal motors and mitosis. Preference will be given to researchers with strong skills in quantitative fluorescence microscopy and protein biochemistry. Competitive applicants should have a strong publication record. This full-time position is renewed annually with an expected three-year duration. We seek candidates who embrace and reflect diversity in the broadest sense.
