  宾西法尼亚大学兽医学院生物医学科学系的Rumela Chakrabarti博士的实验室立即提供了一个博士后研究职位。该实验室对了解乳腺癌患者的耐药性和对治疗缺乏反应感兴趣。特别是,我们有兴趣了解乳腺癌患者与免疫细胞和癌细胞的相互作用。

  One postdoctoral research position is available immediately in the laboratory of Dr. Rumela Chakrabarti in the Department of Biomedical Sciences in the School of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. The lab is interested in understanding drug resistance and lack of response of patients to therapies in breast cancer. Particularly, we are interested in understanding the crosstalk with immune cells and cancer cells in breast cancer.

  Our projects rely heavily on mouse models (knockout mice, conditional knockout mice, transgenic mice) and primary cell culture and cell line models (2D and 3D). Applicants must be willing to work with mice, and experience with mice is preferred. Applicants must have received a Ph.D. or M.D./Ph.D. degree and have strong interpersonal and communication skills, including fluency in spoken and written English. Recent graduates with 0-2 years of postdoctoral experience are preferred. The successful applicant will be highly skilled in molecular biology techniques (cloning, PCR, Western blot etc) and cell culture. Knowledge on Flow cytometry and protein biochemistry is a plus.
