A Postdoctoral Research position is immediately available in the laboratory of Dr. Jin Q. Cheng at the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute. This is an entry-level position for an individual with less than 2 years post-graduate experience in which the individual will be responsible for conducting independent research projects. We are seeking a highly motivated individual to investigate signal transduction pathways and non-coding RNA in human malignancy which could lead to targeted therapies. Candidates should have a Ph.D. degree in Biochemistry/Molecular Biology or a related field. Expertise in cancer signaling, cell cycle and mouse model is highly desirable.
Moffitt Cancer Center is a modern facility on the University of South Florida Campus that conducts research on various aspects of Cancer Biology with emphasis on translational research. The Research environment includes state of the art modern core facilities and pathogen-free modern animal facilities, access to clinical material, etc.
