Postdoctoral Fellow Appointment Available to investigate the Role of EMT inducers during malignant transformation at the Cancer Research Centre of Lyon (CRCL, Director: Alain Puisieux).
Applications are invited to apply for a 3-year postdoctoral research position within the “Escape to failsafe programs and cellular plasticity” team (Dir. Alain Puisieux & Stéphane Ansieau) at the Cancer Research Centre of Lyon (CRCL, INSERM 1052 – CNRS UMR 5286 – Centre Léon Bérard; Lyon, France).
We are looking for a talented and highly motivated post-doctoral fellow interested in joining our friendly and international team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on one of several open projects involving the characterization of oncogenic activities of EMT-inducing transcription factors, especially in the model of gynecological cancers (EMT: epithelial-mesenchymal transition).

Candidates should be highly motivated, committed and have clear career goals. Experience in cancer research would be a strong asset.
Candidate requirements:
• Recent PhD with outstanding academic track record and at least one first authored publication in an internationally recognized peer-reviewed journal
• Strong background in cell & molecular biology is required
• Experience with mouse models of tumorigenesis is desirable
• Capable of working in a team, but able to plan and work independently
• Excellent communication skills
