Grade 7: £32,236 - £39,609 p.a.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Postdoctoral Researcher to join Dr Vincenzo D’Angiolella’s group at CRUK/MRC Oxford Institute for Radiation Oncology, University of Oxford. The primary focus of this project is to study a novel synthetic lethal interaction to target specifically glioblastoma tumour cells refractory to conventional therapies.
You will have a PhD (or be working towards) on the study of cell signalling and/or brain cancers and/or metabolism. You will need to demonstrate your proven ability to present scientific findings to audiences.
You will have experience in laboratory management, scientific training and supervising and proven experience cell culture techniques and basic measurement of cell viability. Relevant experience in siRNA and CRISPR technologies would be advantageous.
This is a full-time post offered for 2 years in the first instance.
