中国科学院数学与系统科学研究院2024年诚邀广大青年学者依托申报海外优青

数学院是一个综合性的国立学术研究机构，覆盖了数学与系统科学的主要研究方向。目前，数学院除了下属的四个研究所以外，还有三个中国科学院研究中心，分别为中国科学院国家数学与交叉科学中心、中国科学院晨兴数学中心和中国科学院预测科学研究中心。此外，还有我国数学领域唯一一个国家重点实验室——科学与工程计算国家重点实验室，及五个中国科学院重点实验室，分别为中国科学院管理决策与信息系统重点实验室、中国科学院系统控制重点实验室、中国科学院数学机械化重点实验室，中国科学院华罗庚数学重点实验室、中国科学院随机复杂结构与数据科学重点实验室等。详见http://www.amss.ac.cn。

1、优秀青年科学基金项目（海外）的申请人应当具备以下条件：

（2）出生日期在1984年1月1日（含）以后；

（4）研究方向主要为数学与系统科学及相关领域；

（6）取得同行专家认可的科研或技术等成果，且具有成为该领域学术带头人或杰出人才的发展潜力；

执行国家科技人才计划统筹衔接的相关要求。同层次国家科技人才计划只能承担一项，不能逆层次申请。

Inviting application for National Science Fund for Excellent Young Scholars (Overseas) through AMSS 

About AMSS

Academy of Mathematics and Systems Science of Chinese Academy of Sciences (AMSS) is a top research center of mathematics and systems science in China, dedicated to the highest level research in pure mathematics, applied mathematics, and applications of mathematics. Currently, AMSS has 270 faculty members, including 15 CAS Academicians, 1 CAE Academician, and 48 recipients of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars. AMSS also has over 130 postdocs and about 450 PhD students. More information about AMSS is available at http://english.amss.cas.cn (in English) and http://www.amss.ac.cn (in Chinese).

AMSS invites young scholars working in all areas of mathematics to apply for National Science Fund for Excellent Young Scholars (Overseas) through AMSS. 

Requirement for Applicants from NSFC

 (1) Abide by the laws of the People’s Republic of China and have good scientific ethics.

 (2) Born on or after January 1, 1984.

 (3) Have a PhD degree in mathematics or related areas.

 (4) Have more than 36 months’ working experience at oversea universities or academic research institutions before April 15, 2024. For those who have obtained a PhD degree overseas and have outstanding research records, the limitation of work experience can be relaxed.

 (5) Have strong research record and the potential of becoming an academic leader.

(6) The applicant should have not yet returned to China on a full-time working basis, or returned to China after January 1, 2023. If the fund is approved, the recipient need to work at AMSS full-time for at least 3 years.
